The Ryder Cup, the every-other-year golf tournament that pits the best golfers from the U.S. and Europe against each other in a team competition, arrives to Long Island this week. This year, Team U.S.A. will be captained by Keegan Bradley and features top talents like Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas (so basically everyone who showed up in Happy Gilmore 2). Team Europe's captain is Luke Donald, who also led the team when they won the 2023 tournament in Rome. This year's European team also includes Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Sepp Straka. The 45th edition of the competition begins with an Opening Ceremony on Thursday, with competition officially running from Friday through Sunday.
