Shohei Ohtani is taking the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight – his first time pitching in a Dodgers uniform, and his first appearance as a pitcher in almost two years. Ohtani will start tonight's game against the San Diego Padres and is expected to pitch for 1-2 innings. The two-way star hasn't pitched since receiving surgery on his elbow in September 2023. Despite the fact that he hasn't been able to pitch, Ohtani has proven his worth at bat; he currently leads Los Angeles in home runs this season with 25 and has driven in 41 runs.
