Abandoned the Internet is more the term. Left early to go downtown to eat out, hit the bars, and see a Dbacks game. Was hoping to mingle in with the Suns crowd afterward. Both teams lost though. Worse yet, went to Friday's Front Row afterward and seen the Lakers win. Besides all the wrong teams winning, it was a great night out for a ball game though. I don't get to many games with the roof open at BOB.

Thanks for the Crouch info. The only bad thing is the article you pointed me too makes it sound like his arm isn't as strong as I once thought. But then it did say he worked on it to make it stronger now. I hope he turns into a great punt returner, because then the Packers have the luxury of keeping him on the roster as a 4th QB while trying to develop his QB skills. Otherwise I think Crouch has to play well in the preseason, and hope that 3rd string QB Craig Nall who was a 5th round draft pick last year and is currently leading the NFL Europe in passing, overtakes journyman Doug Pederson for the backup job. Pederson is 35 years old, so they'd like a younger backup if possible. If Nall can overtake Pederson for the number 2 job this preseason, then I think they'd keep another young guy for the 3rd QB position to try and develop. If they aren't sold on Nall being ready for the backup position yet, I think Crouch has to make it as a punt returner to stick. All speculation on my part.

Crouch intrigues me though. Reading about him is a little like reading about Paul Hornung who won the Heisman Trophy in the late1950s as a QB at Notre Dame and later played half back who threw the option with Green Bay in the 1960s.
