Anyone else a big fan of horror movies?

This weekend I'm catching up on the horror movies of 2022.

I've watched Hellbender, X, and You Won't be Alone so far. Watching the newest Scream now.

Oh, that movie is definitely a horror movie. And a damn disturbing one. Had a stretch a couple months ago where I had insomnia and for some reason kept watching it, in fits and spurts… some scenes repeatedly.

Crazy to think I had weird dreams when I finally did drift off to sleep those nights…

Fresh on Hulu is a good horror/thriller.

You won't be Alone is an artsy, slow horror movie. Not much horror, mostly an art house kind of flick, but I really enjoyed it. Witch movie.

Hellbender has some gore, but it's a coming of age flick about a young witch.

It's not for everyone.

Very unsettling movie. The ending was horrifying, similar to Hereditary.
Yeah, I didn't know anything about Midsommar when I started watching it as it was on Showtime or something and I couldn't turn away but was so disturbed.

The ending was super creepy...but I bet it wasn't to less intelligent people...when the girl smiled...it was twisted.

My wife refuses to watch scary movies. She is even borderline creeped out at Stranger Things this season. We in our entire marriage only watched one true horror movie together. It was the Ring. I think we had just gotten married. She basically never forgave me. She had nightmares that night. As a result, I usually don't get to see any horror movies until they come home.

That was all she wrote. She to this day has not watched a true "horror" movie since. Lucky for me, my college age daughter loves horror so I can see movies with her now.

I went on a horror movie binge this weekend since my GF was visiting a friend in Arizona.

Watched a few movies from rotten tomatoes top horror movies of 2021 and 2022.

You Won't Be Alone was an interesting one. Movie takes place in Macedonia in the 1800s and it's about a witch trying to live a normal human life. Kind of slow and artsy, but I enjoyed it.

Saw Black Phone yesterday. Fun horror Romo with a few good jump scares. Took my 14 year old and 11 year old.

I love certain horror movies but feel as a genre, it's mostly filled with trash. I did enjoy the new scream quite a bit.

Jf… you realize this was supposed to be a spoof on the genre, right?
