The Cleveland Browns weren't looking for all of the holes to be filled when they entered the 2025 NFL Draft. One look at the number of needs they possessed after going 3-14 in 2024 showed one draft wasn't going to answer those questions.
So it was all about maximizing the picks they had, in the words of owner Jimmy Haslam, to find some "really good football players." Whether they did or not remains to be seen, but the Browns certainly did stay active in trying to accomplish that feat.
The Browns went into the draft with obvious needs at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, offensive tackle, defensive line, linebacker and safety. The seven-player draft class answered five of those questions. General manager Andrew Berry has been known to strike a big deal after the draft before, so that's something to keep an eye on going into May.
