Georgia football offers elite Houston WR commit

The Georgia Bulldogs have extended a scholarship offer to Houston Cougars commitment Aden Starling. Starling, who is a member of the class of 2027, has been committed to Houston since Oct. 2024.

Starling is ranked as a three-star wide receiver recruit and is a rising junior. The 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver is ranked as the No. 441 recruit in the nation and the No. 58 wide receiver, per 247Sports. The talented wide receiver plays high school football for Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, Texas. Starling is the No. 58 recruit in Texas in the 2027 recruiting cycle. On3 ranks Starling as a four-star recruit.

"Blessed to have earned an offer from the University of Georgia," said Starling on social media after Georgia offered him a scholarship.

The Shadow Creek standout has recent scholarship offers from Texas, Wake Forest and Wisconsin. Starling is a good student and faces a high level of competition at his high school.

Starling is capable of hauling in contested catches and shows good body control in his film.
