Final Pro Bowl fan voting is in: Arizona's Budda Baker got the most fan votes at special team, WR Larry Fitzgerald finished 5th, OLB Chandler Jones 4th, CB Patrick Peterson 7th, FS Tyrann Mathieu 7th.

The Cardinals ruled out WR John Brown (toe), LB Gabe Martin (hamstring) and G Earl Watford (ankle). RB Adrian Peterson (neck) was initially ruled out before being placed on injured reserve. TE Jermaine Gresham (illness), DT Josh Mauro (ankle) and DT Corey Peters (ankle) were all listed as questionable.

Cardinals tight end Jermaine Gresham was downgraded to out against Washington on Sunday because of illness.

D.J. Swearinger called out his teammates last week for "going through the motions". This should be one of the most interesting sub plots of the game. Swearinger said this week that the Cardinals made him an offer prior to the start of FA, but they pulled it at the start of FA when DJS didn't sign it. That's when SK went right on to Plan B which was to sign S Antoine Bethea instead.

This was interesting info because the rumor was that the Cardinals thought DJS wasn't a positive force in the clubhouse, which seemed odd after BA&SK had been praising DJS for his extensive film study and his improvements at FS. Thus, they wanted DJS back, but only at their salary figure.

Imo, we miss him as a thumper and ballhawk. Bethea has been solid, however, but not quite the intimidator over the middle. And now they have HOB playing FS and he's not storming the alleys like DJS did, nor is he as rangy in deep coverage.

Considering the situation at TE today, Niklas is a better blocker, and Seals-Jones and Gabe Holmes are threats more in the passing game. We could see Arians bring in extra OL in Khalif Barnes who was signed during the week.

That's a sad Oline. BG will need to be mobile today and get the passes off quickly. Could be sacked numerous times today.
