I always thought the decision on who to start was the Manager's decision, not the GM. The buck stops at the manager as far as the starting pitcher. I have defended Lovello in the past, but it is his decision on who to start and not blame it on "We". He needs to make the manager decisions and stand by his choice, not blame "We". His job depends on it.
