Not strange when you consider Ginkel's performance.

I understand the Manager being positive about his
players, but not going overboard while they are
underperforming.

It is a prime example of why Torey is failing.
Inconsistency in just about everything he
says and does. Everyday is a new beginning.

Which is why some of us believe he should be
relieved of his burden without delay as the
rebuilding process begins. Otherwise it will
just be another round of disappointment
and a waste of young talent. SOSDD.

And the ownership should address that his
partner in crime is the General Manager.

Any minor improvements we see in them
will be like going from unacceptable to
putrid. That is not good enough!

Varsho finally does something good and gets rewarded with a benching. Meanwhile, Mathisen is gifted another day in the line-up.

And people wonder why this team is in shambles...

Everyone has to have his turn to be a starter.:sarcasm:

The lineup cards that Torey makes weeks in advance
must be a mess with the current personnel changes.

I hate :sarcasm: , but there is nothing else left.

Dream sequence . . .

You've accumulated all of your designated time off,
Torey. You can take it all starting now.

Miss Jones, get me Bench Coach Luis Urueta on the line.

And, or our new lefty pitcher, obtained for Starling, two errors -- bad throws
by Ahmed, then Walker -- put a runner on 2B. Welcome to the Diamondbacks.

Steve and Bob are commenting about how bad the fielding has been.

There is no excuse for that! This team is uninspired.

Caleb Smith gets two strikeouts and strands the runner in scoring position.

And Escobar, our starting 3B, of course, is playing 2B.

Well, I'm switching to the Mercury game. Buh bye.

Because Torey decided to give Mathisen another shot, even though Mathisen has already clearly proved he doesn't belong in AAA, let alone the Majors. Our new Jake Lamb...

I see that Seattle tightened it up to 4-3 starting the 9th.
