I really want to know whose call it is in terms of who is active versus sent down - Hazen or Lovullo.

But, regarding which young players are not given a fair chance to develop, that falls on Lovullo.

If you do not play like an All Star in your one start, it's 1-and-done for another week.

Who gets sent down is Hazen's decision, but he and the manager he chooses need
to be on the same page.

Before this horrible losing streak, the D-backs were managed inconsistently. No wonder
most of the players have been inconsistent. Or, even worse, consistently bad.

I am really shocked people think Lovullo is just running wild and making all these decisions on his own and Hazen is somehow not a part of the process...which would make Hazen completely incompetent.

Ya think?!? We've lost eleven of our last thirteen games. That says it all!

Most of them before Hazen's fire sale.

While keeping a Manager with a history of not giving young players a chance.

While marginal veterans like John Jay gets starts.

It is up to the General Manager to plan and the Manager to execute.

And it is up to the investors to replace those who are failing.
