Gallen - 7 quality stats, 4th in the NL in ERA, 7 no decisions, 1 win, 0 losses.

That's what sub-bar hitting, fielding and managing will do for you.

Guerra lost this game. Not Torey.
The game should've never gotten to Guerra. Gallen pitched a near perfect game. But Torey's inconsistent line ups and moving players all over and asking for lift has lead to this team to not be able to hit. This year, last year and 2018 all of his teams have had streaks where teams can't hit to save their life. This year is just magnified by the short season.

Lovullo needs to be fired. Immediately. He is killing this franchise.

Guerra lost this game. Not Torey.
'Sorry, not so.

Torey used no strategy in the top of the 10th with a runner placed on 2B.

The Dodgers did. Torey was outmaneuvered, as he has been all season.

His only announced strategy has been . . . hit it in the air.

Guerra lost this game. Not Torey.

Guerra struggles with inherited runners. Always has. Far more effective starting an inning with the bases empty. Lovullo unbelievably plays to his players' weaknesses, not their strengths.

He has ruined Junior Guerra, Jake Lamb, Archie Bradley, Nick Ahmed, Eduardo Escobar, Yoshi Hirano, Brad Boxberger, Kevin Cron and Kole Calhoun, and he is in the process of ruining David Peralta, Christian Walker and Ketel Marte.

This team has no future as long as Torey Lovullo is its Manager.

Yeah, we know your false mantra, fact is Guerra lost this game. Admit it and move on.

Can we cut Escobar this off season without much of a hit?

I think it's time to clean house with this team. Starting with Lovullo and get some new leadership in there and not these inconsistent teams lovullo has put out there.

What do you mean about taking a hit. MLB contracts are guaranteed

This game? Move on? The D-backs have lost 12 of their last 13 games?

Which has led to the GM throwing in the towel and dumping stars. What hope are we left with?

What could be more obvious, with the Diamondbacks losing 12 of its last 13?

Which has led to the GM throwing in the towel.

The question is why the heck Lovullo hasn't been shown the door already. He is clearly the problem, and the longer he is here, the more players he is going to ruin, including some of our young nucleus (Varsho, Kelly, Young, even God forbid Gallen). He is rotting this roster to its core...

What hope are we left with? Are you really making alibis for that?

Don't be like Lovullo. Look at the big picture.

If it weren't for me having to stay in and protect myself from
COVID-19, I wouldn't watch another game as long as he is involved.

Who hired Torey?
The question is . . . who is going to correct the situation?

The D-backs need to look ahead, not back. Clearing house without the Manager
does not solve the problems.

You gonna let the guy who thought Torey was the answer make the choice again?

I was certain Torey was safe and still believe it but I don't think it is a guarantee anymore.

It actually adds to them, as Lovullo ruins more and more players and builds a losing culture.

Just looking at the WAR leaders in MLB for the season on Baseball-Reference.com and the two leaders -

1 - Zach Gallen, ARZ - 2.7
2 - Mookie Betts, LAD - 2.7

With any run support at all, there would be whispers of Gallen as a Cy Young candidate. I really hope Torey doesn't ruin him as well...

On a lighter note, Zach Gallen looks so dorky on the mound wearing glasses.

That probably helps him. What a killer change-up. I guess that would be
called a 'half Gallen'. :D

Without the glasses he looks like a cool guy.

I wear glasses, BTW. Tri-focals.
