Another loss incomming, I am perplexed how well we've made the Giants look this year considering they aren't that good. M. Kelly is terrible and we will be down by 4-5 within the first three innings.

It was reported that Marte would be back, but I guess
either the injury is worse than expected or it is a day
game off following a night game. 'Hope it's the latter.

Ketel is now the only dependable hitter we have. With
Kelly a distant second. And Escobar luckily still driving
in runs despite a horrible batting average slump.

Ahmed is also on a tear. But we can't expect him to
keep up that pace for the remainder of the season.

'Good to see him develop into a .270 hitting SS with
some power, though, and not just against lefties.

EDIT: Marte has continued back spasms, per Bert.

Two quick D-backs outs, then four straight reach and it's a 3-0 game.

Will they now go six innings again (and again) without scoring a run?

Steve is really going overboard talking about the Wild Card spots, as
the three of us posting yesterday during the game commented on.

There are so many teams ahead of us and our starting and relief
pitching sucks.

All he is doing is jinxing them. Moderation, Steve, moderation. :)
