Rojas gets the start
I see Josh Rojas is primarily a 2B, but he's starting in LF.

Why won't they let him break in at his natural position?

I hope he will have more than one game to show what
he might be able to do and not be Croned.

Another body in the D-backs game of musical chairs.

I wonder how Torey would like it if he were told,
"You're going to manage tonight's game. Then, go
sit in a corner of the dugout.

"We'll let you know when we want you to manage
another game. Or maybe just be a pinch-manager
for one inning."

Time will tell.

Rojas is not primarily 2B

Games played by position:

2B - 89
LF - 56
3B - 61
1B - 32
SS - 30
RF - 13

Also worth noting that the Dbacks didn't play him at 2B once since the trade - mainly been in the OF.

They designated the old Utility guy to bring him up, so it looks like the intent is to keep him up.

OK, thanks. The article I read said 2B was his primary position (which shows as his most prevalent position on the list).

And with the infield totaling 212 games and the outfield totaling 69. But, evidently, he has experience at all six positions
four infield and two outfield).

As a left-handed bat, I wonder how he is going to affect all of the other rotating part-timers.

As well as the under-performing primary rotators like Lamb.

And, frankly, how it will affect Rojas as one of the rotators. Will he find a groove quickly enough, which is not an easy task?

Well. so far, the Rockies are playing in a hitter's park and the D-backs are not.

The D-backs go down 1-2-3 on 7 pitches and the Rockies have loaded the bases
with one out.

It’s just not fun to watch Merril Kelly pitch. Hopefully our offensive can take advantage of this anemic Colorado pitching
