Florida State baseball hosts Clemson for the penultimate home series of the Seminoles' regular season and the top-10 matchup could shape the postseason for both programs.
With three weekends of ACC baseball remaining, both No. 8 FSU (31-9 [12-6]) and No. 4 Clemson (36-10 [13-8]) sit in the top five of the ACC standings.
After a series loss to No. 20 Louisville, the Seminoles rank second behind No. 17 North Carolina State (30-13 [15-6]), who most recently swept now fifth-place Clemson.
The series could be the difference in either the Seminoles or Tigers receiving one of the four double-byes at the ACC tournament.
