Unfortunately, its the right thing to do. I love to camp and I respect the burn bans when I do. It's unfortunate that others don't.
Besides that, it is super dry everywhere and fires can be started accidentally as well. Hopefully this closure will reduce (or eliminate) fires and we can get some monsoon rains soon!

I was totally going to drive up 4 peaks and hike browns peak this weekend assuming everyone would be everywhere else :(

Just heard on the news that the last time they did bans like this there were 100 less fires in the state. I thought that was a pretty staggering number.

The forests in Arizona are so dry it's literally like sitting on a keg of dynamite hoping and praying it doesn't go off.
