Week 10 of the 2025 MLB season has ended.
Three former Vols began the week in MLB: Jordan Beck (Colorado), Garrett Crochet (Boston) and Seth Halvorsen (Colorado).
Crochet played for Tennessee from 2018-20 and was selected by the White Sox in the 2020 MLB draft (No. 11 overall). He was traded to the Red Sox following the 2024 season.
Beck was drafted by Colorado (No. 38 overall) in 2022 and played for the Vols from 2020-22. Halvorsen was also selected by the Rockies in 2023 during the seventh round (No. 202 overall) after playing at Tennessee from 2022-23.
Chase Dollander (Colorado) remains on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to May 19, due to right forearm tightness as a precautionary measure.
Below are performances from former Vols during Week 10 of the 2025 MLB season.
Beck hit a single in his third and fourth plate appearances at the Cubs on May 26. He was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning and later scored a run on May 27.
His lone weekend feat was a single to center field at the Mets on May 28.
Crochet pitched 6.2 innings at Milwaukee on May 26. He totaled 11 strikeouts, while allowing five hits, two walks and two runs. Boston lost, 3-2, and Crochet earned his fourth loss in 2025.
Crochet earned his fifth win of the season at Atlanta on Sunday. He pitched seven innings, recording 12 strikeouts, while allowing five hits, one run and two walks.
Halvorsen’s week began on May 27 with an eight-pitch eighth inning against the Cubs. He allowed one walk.
Colorado trailed the Mets, 3-2, when Halvorsen made an appearance on May 28. He allowed two hits and one run in the eighth inning.
