Oilers 2025 Playoff Schedule vs. KingsEDMONTON – Everyone knows this song and dance.
Ceci becomes one of seven players to play more than 82 games this season. Brandon Carlo, Mikael Granlund, Charlie Coyle, Drew O’Connor, Fabian Zetterlund, and Will Borgen all played 83 games or more this year. But Ceci was the only one to play 85.

He joins an exclusive list, as only two players have ever played more games in a season. Jimmy Carson and Bob Kudelski hold the record of 86 games played in a single season.

Other players to have hit 85 games are Bill Guerin, Glenn Anderson, Mark Lamb, Rem Murray, Joe Reekie, and Tyson Barrie. Barrie was the last player to play 85 games in a season before Ceci made the achievement this year as well.

Ceci has been a consummate professional his whole career. Longevity is hard to come by, so it’s nice to see a former Oilers player be as durable as he has for the whole season.
