Here is an article from a real publication:

White suffered the lowest Pro Football Focus overall defensive grade of his career last season at 48.8, which included a 73.0 grade against the run, 32.0 grade in coverage and 49.4 grade in pass rush.

He allowed 55 catches on 63 targets, per PFF, for an average of 12 yards per reception. White totaled one interception, one touchdown surrendered and three passes defensed.

IMO White's inability to cover players on pass attempts is why the Cardinals moved on from him.

Still I loved the physical style of play that he brought to this team. Curious to see if someone else steps up and replaces him as the "Enforcer" on the Defense.

i was a bit surprised by his overall poor PFF defensive score. I guess I focused too much on his 137 tackles and his solid (?) play against the run. Let's see if our ILB are going to be worse against the pass. Who knows? We might have to poach Kyzer off the Titan practice squad if we see teams exploit our middle pass D even more than when Kyzer was in the middle.

Honestly hard to be worse at pass defense than Kyzir. Dude is a bona fide 2 down linebacker

Did we find better replacements?

in the Denver pre-season game, PFF numbers for
  1. Akeem Davis-Gaither - 26.3
  2. Cody Simon - 35.9
Those season numbers of 48.8 for KW don't look so bad. I realize the stats for a single pre-season game are not fully relevant but at this point it is what we have for comparison.

I'd say our ILB are a possible weak link in the D. Let's see how the Saints attack our D in the middle of the field. Even a two-down run defender ILB might not be so bad. LOL.

Agree that it"s definitely a weak spot

Simon looked lost and it may take some time for him catch up to the speed and scheme of the D
