As the third player chosen overall in the draft, the former University of Pittsburgh star, one of the most physically gifted wide receivers in the college game over the past decade, will sign a deal that appears to be the most lucrative ever for an NFL rookie. The six-year contract could be worth as much as $60 million and includes slightly more than $20 million in guaranteed bonus money, also a record.

He is worth all of it...

HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Man did I need that news after watching M. Night Shymalama-ding-dong's "The Village Idiot" - good lord man, halfway through I started to imagine what the worst possible twist could be at the end of the movie - to my horror, about an hour later - it was borne true. I feel like he crapped on my face with that movie.

But back to Fitz HALLELUJAH! As far as Kendall goes - people can say he was the QB and leader of the O-line - and if that;s the case then the leader of the O-Line "lead" them to be unbelievably over-hyped underachievers. Good riddance.

That is great, in camp in time. Good stuff. What a deal, though. I wonder if it's a two-tier bonus?

you gotta hand it to Graves - he did what needed to be done - and that's now two years running we haven't had long holdouts with first round picks - a total of what - three days combined for 3 guys - that's leap years ahead of what this organization is sued - especially with a pick as high as Fitz.

Get the other guys signed and lock and load. I can't wait to see Fitz and Quan out there together. If McCown is the real deal - expect this offense to be awesome next year - gotta look ong term - we finally have a coach and apparently a front office that is at the very least "competent". Rome wasn't build in a day Cards fan - have patience . . .

Beef giving props to Graves. Now I've seen it all. Unfortunately, Dockett as our starting DT is a bigger piece to the puzzle this year than Fitz as our third WR is. Get Dockett in please.

Wow that is a ton of money. Can you imagine rookie draft signings next year up top?

It looks like we are shifting the big cash from the offensive line to WR. Boldin will certainly want a deal in the same neighborhood. We have set our own market.

No it is going to piss off the poor Browns.

Tomorrow's contract discussions with the Postons:

Eli Manning...is he a soldier?

Larry Fitzgerald...is he a soldier?

No!

So what are you muther(bleep)'s going to pay for a (bleep)ing soldier?!?!?

We KNOW that Kellen was number 1 on someone's board so you better beat the contracts that the #3 and #4 picks got.
