The Oklahoma City Thunder are at home on Monday night as they begin the second round of the playoffs against the Denver Nuggets.
Oklahoma City enters Monday’s contest as the more rested team after they were able to sweep their way past the Memphis Grizzlies in dominant fashion in the first round.
Now, they will face off against a Nuggets team coming off a seven-game series against the Los Angeles Clippers that wrapped up on Saturday night.

Of course, the second-round series between the Thunder and Nuggets will feature two of the best players in the NBA and the top two players in the MVP race in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic.
While that may be the case, both teams will need their other stars and key players to step up in round two and the Thunder will enter the series with a clean injury report.
The only player listed on Oklahoma City’s injury report is Nikola Topic, who will miss the remainder of the season due to rehab for an ACL injury he suffered before his rookie season.
Other than Topic, the rest of the Thunder’s injury report in clean, which means that they will be getting back Ousmane Dieng after he missed 19 consecutive games due to a calf injury.
This is great news for the Thunder as Dieng played a key role for them off the bench in the regular season, though it remains to be seen what his role will look like in the playoffs.
On the other side, the Nuggets also enter Game 1 with a clean injury report as the only player listed is DaRon Holmes II, who will miss the remainder of the season due to an injury.
This is massive news for the Nuggets after both Russel Westbrook and Michael Porter Jr. were limited in the first round due to injuries.
Fans can catch Monday’s Game 1 matchup between the Nuggets and Thunder at 9:30 p.m. EST on TNT.
