Despite only having a three point lead deep into the second quarter, the Falcons defense came to play on Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings. Aside from recording five first-half sacks, rookie defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. recorded an incredible interception of Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
It's been a night to remember for young guys as four players have registered their first career sack and Bowman has the Falcons' first turnover of the game. The fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma undercut Jalen Nailor's route for the pick.
Bowman nearly had another interception that was called back but Atlanta's defense is doing everything it can to give the offense the help it needs. Watch the rookie's first career interception, as shared by the NFL's social media account below.
