As those around the league anxiously await the 2025 NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons continue to be linked to different prospects. Even though the deadline for top-30 visits was April 18, the team recently met with three more potential draft targets.
According to the Draft Network's Justin Melo, the Falcons spoke with UCF wide receiver Kobe Hudson and USC running back Woody Marks. Hudson is a solid route runner with decent size and quickness. Marks rushed for over 1,100 yards last season and added 47 catches for another 321 receiving yards.
Both players are potential Day 3 targets for the Falcons, who have two picks in the seventh round. The third player linked to Atlanta will be long gone by Day 3.
According to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Falcons visited with projected first-round pick Jihaad Campbell. The Alabama linebacker is someone who analysts tend to overlook as an option for Atlanta.
While the Falcons have good interior linebacker depth with Kaden Elliss and Troy Andersen, Campbell is another versatile off-ball linebacker who could line up all over the place. In 2024, he finished with 55 solo tackles, five sacks, forced fumbles and one interception.
Campbell is still recovering from a shoulder injury but should be ready in time for training camp, according to Rapoport. The Falcons currently hold the 15th overall pick, so Campbell is a realistic option in Round 1. The 2025 NFL draft begins on Thursday, April 24 at 8 p.m.
