The Aaron Rodgers-to-Pittsburgh news set the NFL world ablaze — but former Steelers WR Antonio Brown revealed he tried to bring him along for the ride.

According to MLFootball, Brown reached out and reported that Rodgers had tried recruiting him to Pittsburgh in February — seemingly confirming that the four-time MVP had plans all along to sign with the Steelers.

MLFootball is hardly Adam Schefter, but Brown didn't dispute the report — in fact, he retweeted the claim, as seen below:

Brown is actually just three years older than 33-year-old WR Robert Woods, who was signed by the Steelers last month. Still, his attitude and off-the-field antics led the Steelers to part ways for a reason.

Back in March, Brown attempted to confirm the Rodgers-to-Pittsburgh signing early — but not many took the wideout seriously.

Could Rodgers have genuinely tried to recruit Brown back to Pittsburgh, or is this simply AB being AB on social media?
