Noah Fant has found a new NFL home.
Less than two weeks after being cut by the Seattle Seahawks, the 27-year-old tight end is set to sign with the Cincinnati Bengals, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported Thursday. The news has since been confirmed by other outlets including ESPN and NFL Network.
Fant (6-4, 249 pounds) originally entered the league as a first-round pick out of Iowa with the Denver Broncos in 2019. He spent the first three years of his career in Denver, hauling in 170 receptions for 1,905 yards and 10 touchdowns in 47 games. The Broncos traded Fant to Seattle in 2022 as part of the blockbuster deal for quarterback Russell Wilson.
In three seasons with the Seahawks, Fant totaled 130 receptions for 1,400 yards and five touchdowns in 48 games. He will now get a fresh start in Cincinnati with Joe Burrow at quarterback. Fant will return to Denver in Week 4 when the Bengals travel to face the Broncos on Monday Night Football on Sept. 29.
Elsewhere on the ex-Bronco front, linebacker Justin Hollins and punter Colby Wadman worked out for the Tennessee Titans, defensive lineman Haggai Chisom Ndubuisi worked out for the Houston Texans and wide receiver Marquez Callaway worked out for the San Francisco 49ers.
