The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won the last four NFC South championships thanks to the depth of their roster and a strong offense with plenty of firepower.

From Baker Mayfield to Mike Evans, the Buccaneers remain one of the most high-powered teams in the league. They added some more firepower as well through the entire 2025 draft as well.

Tampa Bay made only six picks in the draft, but added to the roster with quality corners and a top receiver in Emeka Egbuka. And that class was enough to earn a "B" grade from ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr.

"Egbuka is the headliner in a decent draft class for the four-time defending NFC South champs. While I wasn't focusing on WR with my team needs, I had edge rusher and cornerback circled," Kiper said. "Tampa Bay used its top picks at the edge in 2021 and 2022, but things haven't panned out. Logan Hall's 5.5 sacks led the Bucs' edge rushers last season. I love David Walker, though. You might not know the name because he played at FCS Central Arkansas, but he proved at the Senior Bowl that he can play with the best of them.

"He had 31 sacks and 63 tackles for loss over the past three seasons. His tape is filled with explosion, power and a deep variety of pass-rush moves."

Tampa Bay's draft total should bolster both sides of the ball moving forward. They are a team that has improved drastically since the start of the offseason. ... and to think otherwise is something we find to be a bit surprising.

But if this works?

Their 2025 draft total could get them back to the elites in the league again.
