I know our defense played very poorly today, but why was Eric Green still in the game? He was hurt on the first long TD and obviously nowhere near healthy enough to continue playing. I wonder why the coaching staff left him in? 3 wide open TDs where he was nowhere in sight. I would love to know the coaches answer to this.

Hood and Francisco were the only respectable DBs in the game. Hood was outplayed and injured and DRC made some rookie mistakes

Why was he on the field period? He sucks. Time for DCR to start alonhg with Leinart.

Francisco is one of the worst players on the team, how on earth does he still get any love on this board?? The guy is a STer and NOTHING more. You do realize that he lost a starting job to the same Terry Holt last year who has been unable to make any other NFL roster right??

I would like to see DRC getting the start over Green and Campbell starting over Antonio Smith. Has that guy ever put pressure on the QB? Ever?

Because he is one of the few guys on the team who can make a one-on-one tackle near the line of scrimmage. He's a liability in pass defense for sure, but he does a decent job of making tackles near the line of scrimmage in pursuit. OTOH, he frequently gets run over in the secondary. :(

This teams needs a center field free safety in the worst way.

DCR was burned as well.

If those two were upgrades...they wouldn't be sitting on the bench.

Stay the course...it's not time to push the panic button (yet).

FWIW on radio Pasch and Wolfley were hinting without saying it that they thought Green was faking it on the play where he stayed down. One said it was a stunner he came back in and the other said yeah the way he went down he was acting like he popped an achilles or tore up his knee, to be back in the game playing is really surprising. It seemed like they just didn't want to say maybe he was just embarassed on that play and stayed down faking injury.

Calvisi had said the sideline diagnosis was sprained knee not sure if he'd be back or not so the team seemed to think he had some sort of injury.

He made one good tackle yesterday, behind the line before the back could even begin to accellerate. More credit goes to the line for collapsing everything that should go to him for jumping over some people on the ground and hitting the only object in front of him. Not trying to hate on the guy but he is a major liability outside of STs IMO.

Game bye game basis, brother. I dont think Francisco is a great ball player, but he did lead the team in tackles yesterday and made some good pass deflections. He most certainly played better than Rolle or Green.

Francisco made about 4 good plays before halftime as I recall.
