I think this would be a great pickup. A possession WR to replace Floyd. I still value a number 2 CB more but this is a better fit then Maclin IMO.

Yes, but wait for the Jets to cut him as they have state they will if no trade is offered.

He won't last through a trade period. Offer a conditional next year low round pick.

per B/R

"If he checks out medically, it shouldn't take Decker long to find a new home. "

  • Probably to a team with an actual QB, unlike the Jets.

Well, when his show was on, he was a pretty damn good player...last year, no show on tv...and he's hurt and not a good player. If they are planning to bring his show back, it can only mean good things for his football career, too. :D

Unlike Maclin, I don't think Decker is going to be available in a shorter prove-it deal. I Think he goes to the Ravens.

I do think he's a solid WR, I just don't think we have the money.

I must be in the minority because I only see one sure receiver on our team and that's Fitz. I would pick up Decker and Boldin in a New York minute.
Boldin, yes

I think with so many young receivers the Cardinals need to just play them, dont add veterans on the downside of their careers.

I strangely have a feeling that Williams is going to be a pretty good player. Even without Fitz, if Williams develops the way I think he can and Smoke reverts to his previous form, and Fire continues to develop, this is still a pretty good group.

Yes there are a lot of ifs, but thats the norm in the NFL.

Both Maclin and Decker would be very good additions, but CB is our GREATEST need. And most fans would probably agree with this. My question is it possible, money wise, to do both.

Behind you
Decker can play at a high level. He's had no QB play.
Knowing how we did without John Brown...yea you go get the insurance plan.
I think it's a 0 percent chance we do...Keom and BA say we are already stacked at WR
