Emmitt "no shows" the waiting fans...

I realize that he wasn't scheduled to meet and greet the fans, but after waiting two hours behind the rail for chance to see the future hall-of-famer, I'm a little bummed.

I had gone down to the Cardinals facility to pay off my season tickets, and there were numerous media outlets there covering the Emmitt signing (including ESPN's John "I'm Nerdier Than Radar O'Rielly" Clayton and Chirs Motensen). There was a crowd control rail set up in front of the ramp to the offices. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out eeryone was witing for Emmitt.

I did see Shipp though! I taked him up and got a smile out of him. and he did stop and sign autographs for the fans...

And I did get interviewed twice about my opinion on Emmitt signing, since I was the only person (out of about 20) who was wearing Cardinals garb. I'll be the CBS news at 4pm, and the Fox Sports Network Local Report at 6:30pm! Yippee!

I just couldn't get over what a KNOB John Clayton looked like in person. I openly mocked him (verbally)...and I haven't had a drop to drink all day!

Seriouly though, I felt like beating him up and stealing his lunch money for even pretending to like football...

I am sure he'll be happy to take time in Flagstaff at training camp..... Can't wait to have some autograph memorabilia for my sports collection, yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn...I like training camp as it was..easy access to players, plenty of seats on the bleachers to watch practice, crowds not too big...now it will be a zoo. While I like cardinals games in tempe to be crowded..flagstaff is vacation..crowds will be huge now that emmitt will be there..

I know.... but I would rather win and it's a small price to pay if we can bring in guys that help us do it.... even if it messes with our comfort zone..............Lots of new autographs to get

I can't believe I got snubbed by news 5...the dude even asked me how to spell my name for the "banner" tag at the bottom of the screen...

Of course, the woman interviewed after me was very nice!
