Kind of like DC when there is the forecast of any amount of snow.
Might be a good time to remind the MAGA person that their hero said this while thing is a hoax and there is nothing to worry about.
Went to my local Lowe's. We normally use Lysol spray and wipes (we have Quartz countertops so it is not recommended to use bleach-based disinfectants) and we were getting low, so need to do a normal restock. Plenty of stock on hand (both Lysol, Clorox and generic). They are completely out of hand sanitizer.
The biggest risk is that there’s a community wide quarantine. But even then, they’ll most likely let you out for food.
What people really need is disinfectant, some food to cover a few days if a community wide quarantine is ordered, and some basic meds: NyQuil, decongestants, mucinix, Tylenol and Advil.
Ideally, people would have 14 days of food set aside just in case, plus a mask if they get infected and have to go out. But even 3 days of food and some medical stuff is better than nothing.
Rummy and poker. Also Rummikub but they beat my butt on that one so I don’t like to talk about it.
She’s a dear friend of mine. I try to nicely point out the errors of her confidence in Trump. Asking about supplies was a yuge step for her.
So true. I recall the shopping markets running out of kitty litter bc everyone ran outta salt and sand back in a blizzard in 1993 (I think). The law school shut down and our buddy with a four wheel drive SUV went and picked up 7 of our buddies and a bunch of liquor and everyone hunkered down at our house for three days of boozing.
I was really expecting “40 pound bags of kitty litter” to finish that sentence.
Cat litter is great to keep on hand in the winter time where there is snow and ice. My cats swear by it!
AKA 3L Fridays.
We extended that to 1L 2nd semester (hell, it was probably 3rd week), 2L whenever. Didn’t take us long to figure it out.
You did law school so much better that I did.
I had very smart partners in crime.
I second that, Safeway and Fry's were pretty normal yesterday.
