Three-star safety recruit Jowell Combay has set his commitment date for July 9 and is set to choose among Missouri, Tennessee, Wisconsin, South Carolina and Georgia. Combay is a ranked as the No. 43 safety in the nation and the No. 51 recruit in Georgia. The talented class of 2026 safety plays high school football for Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia.

Combay has took official visits to every team in his top five except for Georgia. The Bulldogs have stayed in the thick of things to make sure that they give Combay something to think about.

Combay is a target that Georgia is recruiting heavily with safeties coach Tavarias Robinson being his primary recruiter. Georgia has three safeties committed at the moment. Four-stars Jordan Smith and Zech Fort along with three-star Kealan Jones have already committed to Georgia.

The recruit momentum that has picked up for Georgia has been phenomenal. Georgia is continuing to secure commitments with the most recent defensive commitment being four-star cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick. Expect Georgia to continue the fight for an in-state recruit like Jowell Combay until the end.
