The Philadelphia 76ers have the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NBA draft after the lottery results and a tough 24-58 season. The Sixers were expected to contend for a title, but instead, had their season ravaged by injuries.

Through the storm, however, there is some sunshine with the No. 3 pick in their possession. President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey has stated in the past that the Sixers will be making a selection--obviously, that can change--but there are a lot of options with that selection on June 25.

The popular pick at No. 3 is Rutgers star Ace Bailey. He can do a lot of things on the offensive end as he averaged 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds while shooting 46% from the floor.

Bailey's teammate at Rutgers, Dylan Harper, will likely be going No. 2 in the draft. As he spoke with reporters in Chicago at the draft combine, he gave his thoughts on what Bailey can do:

Pro. That's how I describe it. Pro. He can score when he wants to. He can play make. Facilitate. Defend. He can do everything. A lot of y'all see his scoring, but I think his IQ is very underrated. I think not a lot of people understand his IQ...From a scoring standpoint, he’s 6-10, he sees over everyone. I probably haven’t seen a scorer better than him. A young T-Mac.

Dylan Harper on Ace Bailey: “From a scoring standpoint, he’s 6-10, he sees over everyone. I probably haven’t seen a scorer better than him. A young T-Mac (Tracy McGrady).”

Bailey will undoubtedly be at the top of the board for the Sixers. He can do a lot of different things and has the height that Philadelphia needs at the moment. However, the Sixers can look at VJ Edgecombe and Tre Johnson as well. There will be a lot of work to do over the next couple of weeks.
