Not that I believe anything will come of it but the state of New York subpoenaed the last 8 years of Trumps taxes in relation to the campaign finance allegations. They already ruled that only Cohen would be charged, even though they said Trump was aware of the payments and directed them himself. Now they're attempting to find out if Trumps' claim the payments were "personal" is reflected in his taxes, that is did he record the payments as a personal expense or did they put them as a business expense on taxes to get some sort of tax advantage, which would be tax fraud.

I doubt anything comes of it but the company involved said they would comply with any legal obligations from the court so in theory they're saying they will comply with the subpoena for his taxes.

I'm sorry, but if Trump is lying about this, then Mattis is guilty of perpetuating the crap happening by not refuting it. He's talked about not wanting to "dishonor" the Presidency by speaking ill of it while a President is in office, but the country comes before anyone else, President or not. His duty was to OUR COUNTRY not this President.

Gen. Matt is should remember: patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.

Never understand how someone can be a "Latino for Trump" after everything he's done and said to and about Latinos?

With him it's not even pay attention to what he does not what he says, he says racist stuff about Latinos all the time.

I did a little googling apparently the huge state budget surplus is due almost entirely to oil and gas drilling and so it's highly volatile based on prices. For every dollar the oil price drops the state loses something on the order of 10 million dollars, and back in 2015 with declining oil prices they had to tap into their money reserves just to stay afloat. So while he's correct they have nearly a million in surplus, most economists in the state think they should be putting that money back into the reserves that got decimated in 15 and 16 when oil prices were falling.

Surprise, the party of fiscal responsibility, the GOP doesn't want to do that, the state is traditionally Democratic and has a Dem governor who wants to put the money into infrastructure and the reserves but is getting considerable pushback from the GOP folks in the state to spend it elsewhere.
