They do but I think people are going to get fed up. Even those on the side of tighter immigration and condone deportation and the detention centers are going to realize the Republican party is detrimental to their long term financial future when we end up back into a recession and they see the "haves" aren't impacted.

Some of it is Bush apparently knew he wasn't that smart, Trump is even stupider than Bush but he thinks he's smart.

He's doing a live "helicopter meeting" right now adn the lies are flowing so fast it's unreal. China is paying the tariffs, at least that's what I thought. He just bashed Fox for not being blind supporters of him and he didn't like them putting Dems on the shows. Then he rattled off names like Hannity and Tucker with an F of people on FOX he loves, but he's not happy with FOX.

We were up late last night and Donnie Deutsch came on tv and he had Omarosa there. He asked her about it and she said remember in 2004 on TV we saw a relatively coherent, sharp Trump, the one we're seeing now has lost it, his mind has deteriorated. We'd brief him on things and he'd insist he got it, we knew he didn't, and then he'd go on tv and completely botch what he's been told. It drove us all nuts but he wouldn't listen to any of us.

This is what you get when you value your racism and misogyny more than basic competence.

    Good work, GOP.

    W. Bush was an incompetent moron, but he at least tried to be a uniter after the September 11 attacks. Think how much worse that would have been if under the current regime.

Then shortly after he goes after the Iraq war using the, “with us or against” nonsense and the painting Dems and Libs as terrorist sympathizers. We should not let the Bush/Cheney cabal and almost the same cast of jerk GOPers still in Congress off the hook.

The voices in America against the Iraq invasion were few and muted. Any contrarian was berated, ridiculed and literally booed.

Remember the gratuitous attacks against France who warned against the unintended consequences of military action.

P.S. France was also ignored when they warned against escalating the conflict in Vietnam.

Trump when discussing FOX news referred to "we" as if he works for FOX news.

Trump just said Russia should be allowed back to a restored G8 and said the only reason why it’s currently the G7 because Putin badly outsmarted Obama. Sigh.

Totally unconfirmed but a bay area reporter I follow online said on her FB that Trump on multiple occasions has referred to CNN reporter Erin Burnett as "the one with the boobs" because he couldn't remember her name and was talking about her to others in the WH. Apparently it's somewhat well known in the WH that Trump doesn't disparage her in part because he thinks she's attractive.

The reason it interested me is that people may not remember, Burnett was a somewhat frequent guest judge on "Celebrity Apprentice" she subbed for Ivanka a few times. During the campaign rumors surfaced of Trump sexually harassing contestants on that show and Burnett's name came up, she denied it, said she knew of other women he did harass, but that he never personally did it to her, he was always courteous to her. Said believe me if he had done that, I'd have made it known.

IF you watch her show she clearly sees he's a serial liar, but she's had a fairly long professional "relationship" with him because she worked on finanical shows for CNN and CNBC so she knew him as Trump the businessman first.

And yet she's known him for more than 10 years and he apparently can't remember her name.
