Hey, state tv Gambo followed it up with "they tried really hard to get Dansby!" to make fans feel better? Poverty franchise.

this again? tired of this schtick from the dbacks brass.

Dbacks have the 13th oldest stadium in baseball. They aren't long for Chase / BOB.

I personally hope they end up next to Casino Az / Talking Stick

there is nothing wrong with that ballpark. it's still immaculate.

It has a ton of issues internally. There were a bunch of reports about it last time this came up.

We go to several games a year and this last year the temperature was the worst. Not sure if it was insulation or the AC but it was suffocating. Like being in a metal shed in the summer. She might be a solid 8 on the outside but she is a 3 under the hood.

Wish in one hand…

I really hope no tax payer monies will be used to build another stadium for a rich owner who should have to finance his stuff like everyone else.

It's got to be AC. It was never an issue before

I’m a Chase Field defender but when the team is bad and there’s no energy it’s an empty airplane hangar. Back in the day BOB had great vibes even on weekday games. It’s not possible having a retractable roof stadium without a giant box feel. They should’ve made clear panels or something similar.

I don’t. They need to stay downtown.
That’s too far for west side fans

To be fair, chase field sucks... it feels like you are sitting in a hanger at sky harbor. Build a stadium up in north Phx. Downtown has the Suns, SE Valley has ASU and now Coyotes, the west side has the Cards. N Phx needs its shot. Getting downtown for a 630pm start time during the week suuuuucks

There was talk it would cost more to renovate/get up to code than to just build a new one. Build it on tribal land right off of the 101... going downtown blows

And getting to north Phoenix would be worse for most people

such a lame argument, well "most" sure as hell are not going to games down town.... there are plenty of people in N Phx, Scottsdale ($), and NW Phx (Sun City) Old people with the free time to watch an aging sport who would probably go

How it is lame? Downtown PHX is the easiest place for the most people to get to. Anywhere outside of there is worse for everyone except those that live in the immediate area.

It would take people from the East Valley twice as long to get to North Phoenix in the evening

Want to combat the aging part? Make it accessible to everyone, especially areas with large amounts of families, and larger Hispanic populations
