ARZ has some interesting pieces to work with: Beer, Smith, Varsho, Ellis. Obviously this team is going with a youth moment from what management is indicating so how to fit them in the lineup regularly will be the next manager's challenge (I think Torey isn't coming back). The good thing is they are interchangeable in that they can play multiple positions and those not starting give ARZ depth on bench.
This is what I have been hoping for for years, drafting and developing the farm to feed into the major league club. ARZ is not going to be able to pay $100M contracts with KK as owner so only way to compete is to follow the MIA / TB model and build through farm and deal guys before they are due for a big payday for top prospects to re-stock the farm and continue the cycle.
