The Phoenix Suns have a bevy of players who will miss Tuesday's final preseason game, Oct. 14, against the Los Angeles Lakers at Mortgage Matchup Center.
Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks, Grayson Allen, Ryan Dunn, Oso Ighodaro, Collin Gillespie, Royce O'Neale and Nick Richards are resting as the Suns returned from China after two games in three days against the Brooklyn Nets during their weeklong stay in Macao.
They all played in the first three preseason games. The Suns are starting Jordan Goodwin, Jared Butler, Nigel Hayes-Davis and rookies Rasheer Fleming and Khaman Maluach.
Mark Williams isn't playing in the final preseason game, either, as the Suns have him on an intentional plan for the season opener.
The 7-footer has yet to play in the preseason. The Suns have him on a plan to prepare him for the 2025-26 season.
Injury prone, Williams has played a total of 106 games in his first three NBA seasons.
Jalen Green will also sit out the final preseason game as he hasn't played in the preseason due to a left hamstring strain initially suffered in training camp leading up to the first preseason game Oct. 3 against the Lakers in Palm Desert.
Green reaggravated it in China, Suns coach Jordan Ott said before Tuesday's preseason game.
