Despite having Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, the Phoenix Suns missed the playoffs this year. Head coach Mike Budenholzer, who replaced Frank Vogel, was fired after just one season. Vogel was also fired after one season.

Durant and the Suns are expected to work together on a trade this summer. The forward has one year left on his contract and was almost traded at the February trade deadline.

Since it's widely believed that Durant will be traded this summer, some think Booker could be moved as well.

However, Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report thinks Booker will remain in the desert.

Booker, 28, is eligible to sign a two-year $149.8 million extension this summer.

"That would bring Booker's total deal to $320.9 million over the next five years, pushing him past Jayson Tatum ($315 million) for the most guaranteed money remaining on an active contract," Swartz wrote. "If Booker did sign that extension, that would keep him out of all trade talks for the time being as the Suns focus on finding a Durant deal instead. Prediction: Booker stays with the Suns."

Booker appeared in 75 games this season. He averaged 25.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists while shooting 46.1% from the field, 33.2% from beyond the arc and 89.4% from the free-throw line.

A four-time All-Star, Booker has scored the most points in Phoenix franchise history. He has career averages of 24.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists.

Booker was the 13th overall pick in the 2015 draft. He scored 70 points against the Boston Celtics in Boston during the 2016-17 season.

According to NBA insider Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the Suns are expected to offer Booker a two-year, $149 million extension this offseason.
