Actually, his season % is 29%, so I think he's voted the lowest for the season, but some other numbers may surprise you.

NFL Coach Approval Ratings - Week 15

This NFL season, we're giving you, SportsNation, the opportunity to cast your vote of approval, or disapproval, of the job your favorite team's head coach is doing. Is he molding a winning team and inspiring championship-level play from his team? Or is he constantly tinkering with the offense and defense resulting in sloppy, erratic play? Is he making good decisions on the field and saying all the right things off the field? Or is he making crucial mistakes that cost the team games and then deflecting the blame?

The following are the latest results from the 2006 SportsNation NFL Head Coach Approval Ratings:

NFL Coach Approval Ratings - Week 15

Jeff
Fisher 95%
Team: Tennessee Titans
Record: 7-7
Votes: 3,495 Titans 24, Jaguars 17
Does this qualify as just knowing how to win? Vince Young passed for fewer than 100 yards and picked up just four yards on the ground. Travis Henry led the Titans with 37 yards on the ground and the team picked up just five first downs all day. But somehow, at the end of the day, Jeff Fisher's tram walked off the field with a 24-17 win and a 7-7 record on the season, all seven wins coming with Young at quarterback. All three Tennessee touchdowns were scored by the defense and all covered at least 60 yards, starting with Adam Jones' 83-yard interception return in the first quarter. And without Fred Taylor to worry about, after the running back left the game with an injury following a long run in the first quarter, the Titans defense took time off from making huge plays to do just enough to survive Jacksonville's running game. The Jaguars still piled up 202 yards on the ground, but lead rusher Maurice Jones-Drew had to fight for each of his 98 yards, averaging 3.9 yards per carry and finishing with no runs of more than 17 yards. Dominant run defense? Maybe not, but considerably better than the Colts had fared the previous week. Good teams win ugly from time to time, and it appears the Titans are on the verge of being a good team. They just need to prove they can win pretty as well. Vote

Eric
Mangini 93%
Team: New York Jets
Record: 8-6
Votes: 1,312 Jets 26, Vikings 13
A week after blowing perfect playoff positioning by getting trounced at home by the Bills, the Jets watched the Vikings take advantage of an early fumble and drive for a touchdown in just three plays. Then they scored 26 unanswered points to bury the Vikings and their playoff hopes while keeping themselves in the thick of the AFC race. Apparently, these really aren't the same old Jets. Eric Mangini's team showed plenty of toughness in bouncing back from last week?s debacle, shutting down Chester Taylor and Minnesota's running game and riding Chad Pennington's hot arm to a big road win. Showing plenty of faith in Pennington despite four interceptions in the last two games, the Jets got more than 310 yards without a turnover from their quarterback ? his first 300-yard day since Week 2. The only negative for the Jets on the day might have been red-zone production, as Mike Nugent was forced to kick two field goals from inside 30 yards (in addition to two long boots). Next up for the Jets, who have won three consecutive games away from home, is a trip to Miami. Vote

Marty
Schottenheimer 93%
Team: San Diego Chargers
Record: 12-2
Votes: 1,193 Chargers 20, Chiefs 9
Wait, so what was wrong with ''Marty Ball'' and all that? With Philip Rivers struggling through one of his only poor performances of the season, the Chargers pounded out a win on the strength of a good defense, forcing two turnovers and recording six sacks, and this running back you may have heard something about. Schottenheimer was smart enough to hand the ball to LaDainian Tomlinson 24 times, and the result was 195 rushing yards and two more touchdowns (giving him the single-season record for points). The Chargers benefitted from some nice coaching calls (fake punt early in the game) but also some luck (a blocked San Diego punt that ultimately wound up giving the ball back to the Chargers with a first down). But if the Chargers can slog through a win against a pretty good Chiefs team, and do it without much of a passing game, things are going pretty well for Schottenheimer. Vote

Mike
Nolan 93%
Team: San Francisco 49ers
Record: 6-8
Votes: 1,609 49ers' playoff hopes still alive
Who would have thought that with two games remaining that San Francisco would still have a shot (an outside one) of making the playoffs? However, after an impressive 21-point fourth quarter Thursday night against the Seahawks, the 49ers are still mathematically in the playoff race and still even have a shot to win the NFC West (an outside one). Much maligned QB Alex Smith led the charge by contributing on all three TDs (two passing and one rushing), while putting together an efficient performance (14-of-25, 162 yards, TD). RB Frank Gore continued his impressive play of late with 144 rushes on 29 carries with four catches for 34 yards and a TD catch. San Francisco still needs some help, but the 49ers could still make the playoffs, even win the NFC West. Vote

Dick
Jauron 93%
Team: Buffalo Bills
Record: 7-7
Votes: 1,388 Bills 21, Dolphins 0
Look who is back at .500. The Bills are back to where they started the season after beating the Dolphins on Sunday, and that's not a bad thing considering their midseason funk. Winning for the fourth time in five games, the Bills put together one of their best defensive performances since early in the season, holding the Dolphins to single-digit first downs and less than 50 yards through the air. Perhaps just as importantly for Jauron and any optimism about the team's outlook for the future, J.P. Losman again provided solid play at quarterback. Losman threw three touchdown passes without an interception, offsetting an average day from Willis McGahee and the running game. Are the Bills really putting it all together? Games against the Titans and Ravens to close the season will tell more, but it looks good for now. Vote

Andy
Reid 91%
Team: Philadelphia Eagles
Record: 8-6
Votes: 1,480 Eagles 36, Giants 22
It was a classic NFC East battle, meaning it wasn't pretty but it was exciting. In the end, Andy Reid's team overcame a penalty-plagued performance to roar past the Giants with some clutch play late in the fourth quarter. The Eagles were flagged for 12 penalties and turned the ball over twice, but compared to New York's four turnovers, that might have been the more poised performance. Jeff Garcia threw his first interception as the team's starter, but he also made some key throws late. Reid also showed a willingness to stick with a good thing on offense, giving Brian Westbrook and Correll Buckhalter 27 carries as the Eagles piled up big yards on the ground. On defense, the Eagles didn't get to Eli Manning all that often but they hung around long enough to benefit when Manning gave them a shot at picking the ball off. Tough games remain against Dallas and Atlanta, but Reid seems to have the right balance working. Vote

Brian
Billick 90%
Team: Baltimore Ravens
Record: 11-3
Votes: 985 Ravens 27, Browns 17
Bored with proving his genius using such quality pieces as Steve McNair, Brian Billick went out and coached the Ravens to 27 points against the Browns with Kyle Boller at quarterback. All right, so Billick probably would have preferred to take the boring route and win with McNair, but the Ravens kept right on rolling despite the injury to their starting quarterback. Jamal Lewis had his best game of the season, rushing for 109 yards on five yards per carry, softening up Cleveland's defense and giving Boller the freedom to throw for 238 yards and two touchdowns, including a 77-yard connection with Demetrius Williams to break a 17-17 tie in the third quarter (he also threw an interception and fumbled once). Baltimore's defense was certainly effective, forcing two turnovers and recording six sacks, but it's the balance the Ravens continue to show between offense and defense that has to be most impressive. Vote

Sean
Payton 89%
Team: New Orleans Saints
Record: 9-5
Votes: 1,280 Redskins 16, Saints 10
With the way this season has gone in the NFL, with success sometimes little more than an auger of imminent peril, you could almost see this one coming. Fresh off a big win on national television against the Cowboys that had people talking about them as Super Bowl favorites out of the NFC, the Saints came out firing blanks at home against Washington. It was essentially a team effort, albeit the wrong kind, for Sean Payton's club, with just about every unit contributing its own bit of mediocrity to the performance. Nobody was outright awful, but nobody looked like a title contender, either. Perhaps of most concern for a team that entered the game in the bottom third of the league against the run., Ladell Betts piled up 119 yards on the ground despite playing alongside a quarterback in Jason Campbell who completed less than half his passes. Like seemingly so many contenders this season, Payton's Saints appear to have defensive concerns that are only masked, not solved, when the offense goes off. Vote

Bill
Parcells 88%
Team: Dallas Cowboys
Record: 9-5
Votes: 1,723 Cowboys 38, Falcons 28
At this point, do you just give Parcells a pass on not being able to control Terrell Owens and give him credit for being able to manage the rest of the team while T.O. tries his best to implode? The Cowboys bounced back in a big way from last week's rout at the hands of the Saints, traveling to Atlanta and coming out with a 38-28 win that makes the team's playoff hopes look very good at 9-5 in the NFC East. Tony Romo threw one costly interception but was otherwise back in top form, completing 22-of-29 passes and spreading the ball around. He even got Owens to produce when the receiver wasn't busy spitting at Atlanta cornerback DeAngelo Hall. The game also turned into a showcase for Marion Barber, who scored twice and rushed for 69 yards on 11 carries. But is Barber's success a tribute to Parcells' coaching and offensive style, or a sign that the coach is too stubborn in insisting on rotating Barber with Julius Jones? Vote

Bill
Belichick 88%
Team: New England Patriots
Record: 10-4
Votes: 1,033 Patriots 40, Texans 7
After a week of picking up the supposed wreckage of a season after losing 21-0 to the Dolphins ? in addition to Tom Brady picking up his own wreckage following his reported split with Bridget Moynahan ? Bill Belichick and the Patriots looked an awful lot like the same old championship contenders in putting on a defensive clinic in dispatching the Houston Texans on Sunday. With two touchdowns drives of less than 40 yards, the Patriots were effective if not awe-inspiring when they had the ball. Brady again finished with yardage that won't please fantasy owners but he threw a pair of touchdowns and didn't turn the ball over. Ron Dayne picked up decent yardage on the ground for the Texans, but the Patriots probably weren't all that concerned with Houston's ground game after taking a 17-0 lead in the first quarter. Vote

Bill
Cowher 86%
Team: Pittsburgh Steelers
Record: 7-7
Votes: 1,429 Steelers 37, Panthers 3
Don't look now but there are probably a lot of AFC coaches breathing sighs of relief that the Steelers won't be able to carry this late-season run into the playoffs. Just like last year, the Steelers are closing the regular season in style. Unlike last season, they waited too long to start that kick. Bill Cowher's team demolished the Panthers in a battle of teams few thought would miss the playoffs, chewing up the clock and chewing through Carolina's defense on the legs of Willie Parker. With little reason to worry about the passing game of Chris Weinke, or late replacement Brett Basanez, the Steelers focused on shutting down Carolina's ground game to the tune of less than 50 yards for the game. In return, they challenged the Panthers to do the same to Parker, who piled up more than 130 yards. Since an embarassing 27-0 loss against the Ravens, the Steelers have won three conseuctive games while outscoring opponents 84-13. Vote

Lovie
Smith 86%
Team: Chicago Bears
Record: 12-2
Votes: 1,497 Bears 34, Buccaneers 31
Is it possible to win an overtime thriller, pile up more than 440 yards of offense and still come away with more questions than answers? Lovie Smith's team clinched home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with a wild win against the Bucs but another big day for Rex Grossman was somewhat offset by a suddenly undermanned defense giving up 31 points to a previously woeful offense. Even without Mike Brown, Tommie Harris and Tank Johnson, the Bears shut down Tampa Bay's running game, holding Carnell Williams to 26 yards on 11 carries. But Tim Rattay, who replaced Bruce Gradkowski early for the Bucs, threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns. Even worse, all three scoring passes came in the fourth quarter as the Bears gave away a 24-10 lead before finally winning on Robbie Gould's short field goal in overtime. Giving up 433 yards to the Rams last week was bad enough, but at least the Rams are generally thought to have a decent offense. After this outing against the Bucs, fans may wonder if attrition has taken too much of a toll on Lovie Smith's defense. But like seemingly every week for the Bears, all the worry comes attached to yet another win. Vote

Mike
Shanahan 83%
Team: Denver Broncos
Record: 8-6
Votes: 761 Broncos 37, Cardinals 20
Denver may still miss the playoffs after beating Arizona on Sunday, but it's getting tougher and tougher to blame Mike Shanahan for the move to Jay Cutler at quarterback. Cutler got the best of fellow rookie Matt Leinart on Sunday, offsetting an interception with two touchdown passes and 261 yards through the air. Next up for Shanahan is the running game, where Mike Bell outperformed Tatum Bell despite getting fewer carries. Mike rushed for two touchdowns and 61 yards on 16 carries, while Tatum picked up just 29 yards on 18 carries and lost a fumble. After back-to-back big weeks for Tatum the last two games (133 yards against the Seahawks and 116 yards against the Chargers) Shanahan seemed to do a good job of sharing the load this week when Mike emerged with the hot hand. Denver's defense sacked Leinart three times and picked off two of his passes, giving up just one touchdown before a late Edgerrin James score capped off a meaningless drive that made the final score look slightly better. Shanahan's ultimate standing with voters may now rest on next week's crucial game against the Bengals and how Cutler performs under pressure. Vote

Marvin
Lewis 77%
Team: Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 8-6
Votes: 692 Bengals struggle in red zone and can't stop Manning
During their four-game winning streak, Cincinnati allowed just 33 points, but the Colts were flawless in the passing game and lit up the Bengals, 34-16. The Bengals had troubles catching the ball, could only manage one touchdown in four red-zone opportunities and couldn't stop Peyton Manning's dink-and-dunk passing attack. They allowed four touchdown passes, including three to Marvin Harrison. Meanwhile, Rudi Johnson rushed for just 79 yards after a promising start against the league's worst rush defense. Vote

Tony
Dungy 75%
Team: Indianapolis Colts
Record: 11-3
Votes: 767 Colts use efficiency and improved defense to sack Bengals
The Colts put themselves one step closer to a first-round bye in the playoffs with a convincing 34-16 victory over the Bengals on Monday night. Peyton Manning was an impressive 29-for-36 for 282 yards and four touchdowns, three of which went to Marvin Harrison. The much-maligned defense stood strong, allowing just one touchdown in four Cincinnati red-zone trips and sacked Carson Palmer four times. Vote

Mike
McCarthy 69%
Team: Green Bay Packers
Record: 6-8
Votes: 827 Packers 17, Lions 9
Mike McCarthy is caught between a rock and a hard place. If this is Brett Favre's final season then Green Bay's coach may want to give fans a final glimpse of the future Hall of Famer. If it's not, it might be time to start asking whether it's time for the Packers to go young at quarterback. At least McCarthy escaped with a win on Sunday, beating the Lions at home despite three interceptions from Favre. Despite four turnovers (and two more fumbles they managed to recover) the Packers got the best of the very beaten Lions with a strong defensive effort. The Packers forced three turnovers of their own and completely shut down a Detroit running game that was minus Kevin Jones. Without that balance, Jon Kitna was sacked six times while throwing two interceptions and fumbling once. Vote

Joe
Gibbs 62%
Team: Washington Redskins
Record: 5-9
Votes: 598 Redskins 16, Saints 10
All right, so maybe it wasn't surprising to see Ladell Betts turn in a good performance, but what did Joe Gibbs say to the rest of his roster? The Redskins, who hadn't won on the road since late September in Houston, went to New Orleans and slowed the Saints' victory march for at least a week. Al Saunders' offense still doesn't look exactly dynamic, but Betts is doing his part with Clinton Portis out of the lineup. Betts rushed for 119 yards against the Saints, giving him four consecutive 100-yard games and nearly 550 yards in those game. He didn't score a touchdown for the third time in those four games, but the Redskins got just enough on three short field goals and one touchdown pass from Jason Campbell. On defense, Washington did an excellent job of slowing both Deuce McAllister and Reggie Bush, while also keeping Drew Brees out of the endzone. Vote

Jack
Del Rio 59%
Team: Jacksonville Jaguars
Record: 8-6
Votes: 306 Titans 24, Jaguars 17
Last week we said the Jaguars couldn't earn the label of the league's most enigmatic team without looking really, really good sometimes. Well, the opposite end of spectrum is also true. Rushing for more than 200 yards but turning the ball over four times -- three of which were returned for touchdowns -- the Jaguars cost themselves a shot at the division and made the playoff race interesting in losing to the Titans. Seemingly a perfect fit for such an up-and-down team, David Garrard threw three interceptions, the second time this season he's tossed at least three picks in one game. For its part, Jacksonville's defense was again stellar, holding the Titans to just five first downs. With the playoffs looming, Jack Del Rio needs to prove his team can be consistent in addition to being occasionally spectacular. Vote

Scott
Linehan 54%
Team: St. Louis Rams
Record: 6-8
Votes: 285 Rams 20, Raiders 0
Scott Linehan's Rams did enough to beat the Raiders on Sunday, but it's doubtful the game will do much to convince residents of Los Angeles that they're missing much with this whole pro football thing. Steve Jackson essentially carried the Rams to victory on offense, scoring both touchdowns after the Rams took over with great field position. Speaking of field position, St. Louis' defense either did a great job of forcing turnovers or did a great job of standing on the same field as Aaron Brooks and Andrew Walter, depending on your perspective. With playoff hopes all but gone after six losses in seven games, it was a win the Rams had to have. And while it wasn't pretty and did little to inspire confidence in a winning streak to finish 8-8, it was a win. Vote

Romeo
Crennel 44%
Team: Cleveland Browns
Record: 4-10
Votes: 550 Ravens 27, Browns 17
Playing with his backup quarterback yet again, Romeo Crennel watched his Browns stay close to the Ravens on Sunday before ultimately falling short. Credit goes to Crennel for his team showing up to play against the playoff-bound Ravens, but they once again couldn't generate the big plays to get it done. The Ravens turned the ball over three times, but the Browns managed just 17 points in the game. And with the score tied 17-17 in the third quarter, it was the Ravens making the big pass play to score a 77-yard touchdown. Derek Anderson threw for 223 yards and two touchdowns , but he also tossed a pair of interceptions. When Charlie Frye is healthy, Crennel will have to decide which one of his young quarterbacks he wants to build around. Until then, at least he has his team playing hard. Vote

Jon
Gruden 38%
Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Record: 3-11
Votes: 373 Bears 34, Buccaneers 31
Is this the best of both worlds for the coach of a bad team at this point in the season? Jon Gruden saw his team put together a big rally against the Bears on Sunday, refusing to quit and pushing the game all the way to overtime with an offensive spark rarely seen for the Bucs this season. He also saw his team ultimately fall a few points short, protecting what promises to be a nice draft pick in the first round. All right, Gruden probably would have taken the win. Of course, after watching Tim Rattay throw for three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, after earlier entering the game in relief of Bruce Gradkowski, Gruden may just be wondering why he didn't make the switch, which he duplicated last week, to start the game. Rattay threw for 268 yards despite coming off the bench, more than Bradkowski had totaled in any game this season. And while Tampa Bay's defense was far from perfect against the Bears, they did register four sacks on Rex Grossman and held the Bears to seven points in the third and fourth quarters. Vote

Gary
Kubiak 36%
Team: Houston Texans
Record: 4-10
Votes: 308 Patriots 40, Texans 7
We know Nick Saban, and Gary Kubiak is no Nick Saban. Whether or not he was able to get the same audio of Tom Brady that the Dolphins felt made them so successful against the Patriots the previous week, Kubiak had bigger concerns about his own signal caller on Sunday. David Carr's two interceptions put the Texans in a hole from which they couldn't escape against the Patriots, turning the game into a three-hour exercise in running out the clock for Bill Belichick?s team. The Texans fell behind 17-0 in the first quarter and 27-0 at halftime, showing little of the fight that helped them beat the Raiders two weeks ago and rally to force overtime against Tennessee last week. Houston's defense may not have been as bad as the final score indicated, slowing Corey Dillon but failing to stop New England on the short field, but Kubiak's ship continued to flounder under Carr, who now has one touchdown in his last eight games Vote

Nick
Saban 34%
Team: Miami Dolphins
Record: 6-8
Votes: 640 Bills 21, Dolphins 0
Apparently Nick Saban and the Dolphins watched film this week with the mute button on. A week after gloating about their secret weapon in shutting down Tom Brady and the Patriots, the Dolphins were unable to contain J.P. Losman -- words which never bode well for any coach. Losman tossed three touchdown passes against the Dolphins, with all three scores coming from beyond 20 yards. Making Losman's success all the more glaring was the complete breakdown of Miami's passing game. Joey Harrington completed just five passes against two interceptions before getting the hook, and surprisingly few outside the Lemon family, Cleo Lemon did not prove to be the answer. Saban appeared to have the Dolphins headed for another strong finish, but after Sunday's game and with contests looming against the Jets and Colts, it remains to be seen how many answers this team has found this season. Vote

Mike
Holmgren 32%
Team: Seattle Seahawks
Record: 8-6
Votes: 486 49ers 24, Seahawks 14
After sitting in the NFC West driver's seat through Week 13, losses to NFC West last-placed Arizona and below .500 San Francisco make the playoffs no guarantee for Seattle. The Seahawks allowed 49ers QB Alex Smith, who, in the last three games, had completed less than 50% of his passes and had throw seven INTs to go with just three TDs, to score three fourth-quarter TDs in the 49ers' come-from-behind win. Seattle's defense allowed more than 20 points for for the sixth straight week. Defensive woes have hurt Seattle, as the Seahawks are the only first-placed team to have allowed more points (314) than they've scored (295). Vote

Herm
Edwards 29%
Team: Kansas City Chiefs
Record: 7-7
Votes: 496 Chargers 20, Chiefs 9
Herm Edwards wasn't able to devise a plan to stop LaDainian Tomlinson. In other words, Edwards isn't the best coach in the history of the sport. The Chiefs didn't lack for effort on the road against the Chargers, but they were unable to complete a draining and emotional week following the death of owner Lamar Hunt with a win. Kansas City's defense did a good job of frustrating Philip Rivers and slowing San Diego's passing game, but Tomlinson ran wild, totaling 195 yards and two touchdowns. As a result, while Larry Johnson ran well for Edwards, the Chiefs weren't able to fully develop the running game while playing from behind. Without that balance, the Chargers constantly harassed Trent Green, sacking him six times and picking off one pass. The Chiefs simply weren't as good as the Chargers on this night, something which may well end up being the case for 30 other teams in the league. Vote

Dennis
Green 24%
Team: Arizona Cardinals
Record: 4-10
Votes: 352 Broncos 37, Cardinals 20
So much for the winning streak that briefly cooled the seat on which Dennis Green was perched in Arizona. Losing to Denver is hardly a shock, but the nature of the loss, with the Cardinals folding in the second half as the Broncos turned a 16-10 halftime lead into a 37-20 final, does a lot to kill the positive momentum gained during Arizona's winning streak. Matt Leinart looked like a rookie (and a rookie with a mediocre offensive line), which wouldn't have been so bad if the guy on the other side hadn't been a rookie playing like a veteran in Jay Cutler. Trailing almost from the outset, the Cardinals weren't able to get Edgerrin James involved, as he carried the ball 14 times after back-to-back games of 26 carries and 115 yards against the Seahawks and Rams. On defense, the Cardinals actually did a pretty good job of bottling up Denver's running game but they didn't have much luck getting to Cutler or stopping the pass. Vote

Rod
Marinelli 22%
Team: Detroit Lions
Record: 2-12
Votes: 585 Packers 17, Lions 9
Are there really any buttons left for Rod Marinelli to push? The Lions forced four turnovers against the Packers on Sunday, including three interceptions by Brett Favre, and still came away with just three field goals in a 17-9 loss on the road. Mike Martz' s offense was without running back Kevin Jones, leaving Jon Kitna as the leading rusher with 34 yards on seven carries. At least Kitna contributed somewhere, as he totaled just 135 yards through the air, tossing a pair of picks, fumbling once and getting sacked six times. Somewhere, Brady Quinn was feeling nervous. Even the defense, despite forcing the turnovers, wasn't all that great, allowing 303 yards of total offense. Vote

John
Fox 20%
Team: Carolina Panthers
Record: 6-8
Votes: 423 Steelers 37, Panthers 3
Has anyone ever mounted a better late-season MVP candidacy without actually playing a down than Jake Delhomme? With Delhomme out of the lineup for the second week in a row, the Panthers again looked utterly and completely inept on offense in getting shellacked at home by the Steelers. With no passing game to speak of, the Panthers managed less than 50 yards on the ground and had half as many first downs as the Steelers -- not coincidentally, they had the ball for about half as long in the game. Of course, Delhomme can't be credited with making tackles, and the Panthers couldn't do that either against the Steelers. Willie Parker ran for more than 130 yards and Najeh Davenport tacked on a 19-yard touchdown run. With four losses in a row, the Panthers are in the midst of a memorable freefall. Vote

Jim
Mora 18%
Team: Atlanta Falcons
Record: 7-7
Votes: 688 Cowboys 38, Falcons 28
This wasn't the outcome Mora needed on the heels of a week when he tried to distance himself from his own comments that he'd rather be coaching the University of Washington than the Falcons. The Falcons showed some spirit in rallying from a quick 14-0 hole against the Cowboys, but they couldn't stop Tony Romo or Marion Barber in the second half and couldn't get their own running game moving at full power with a banged-up Warrick Dunn and absent Jerious Norwood. Not for the first time this season, Michael Vick looked like an outstanding pocket passer, even on a night when he broke the single-season rushing record for quarterbacks. But Vick's good production only makes it all the more maddening that Mora and the coaching staff can't get this out of him on a more regular basis. And on defense, a group that ranked 31st against the pass entering the weekend looked every bit that inept against Romo. Vote

Brad
Childress 17%
Team: Minnesota Vikings
Record: 6-8
Votes: 866 Jets 26, Vikings 13
So much for those playoff aspirations. The Minnesota Vikings produced just five first downs in the opening three quarters against the Jets, turning an early 7-0 lead into a 26-7 deficit from which they couldn't recover. The Jets shut down a banged-up Chester Taylor and Minnesota's running game, and as has been the case all season, the Vikings couldn't get it done with Brad Johnson through the air. Brad Childress eventually replaced Johnson with rookie Tarvaris Jackson, but it was too little too late for a team that has just 11 passing touchdowns all year, even after Travis Taylor's first quarter scoring catch. The aerial game was just as problematic on the other side of the ball, as the Vikings, who entered the game 27th against the pass, gave up more than 300 yards to Chad Pennington. With the Vikings at 6-8 and effectively out of playoff contention, it's time for Minnesota fans to determine if Childress did the best he could with a flawed roster or simply didn?t properly address season-long issues. Art
Shell 17%
Team: Oakland Raiders
Record: 2-12
Votes: 868 Rams 20, Raiders 0
Art Shell elected to change quarterbacks in the middle of Sunday's game against St. Louis. Unfortunately, Brady Quinn wasn't one of the options. Stuck with the same tandem of Aaron Brooks and Andrew Walter that has plagued his offense all season, Shell watched as Walter followed Brooks' one interception with two of his own as the Raiders were blanked by a team few have accused of having a standout defense. Matching the franchise high for losses in a season, the Raiders couldn't gain consistent yards in the air or on the ground and turned the ball over (adding two fumbles to the interceptions) whenever they threatened to string together some first downs. The defense had little success stopping Steven Jackson, who rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns but that was far from Oakland's weak spot. In fact, both of St. Louis' touchdowns came with a very short field (24 yards and 19 yards, respectively) and the Raiders sacked Marc Bulger four times. Unfortunately, if Shell gets credit for a defense that hasn't been all that bad at times, he has to get the blame for the offense as well. Vote

Tom
Coughlin 13%
Team: New York Giants
Record: 7-7
Votes: 1,509 Eagles 36, Giants 22
The Giants still have a chance to control their own playoff destiny, but when that's the best thing you can say coming out of a late-season divisional game, you know it wasn't a good day. Locked in a tight battle with the Eagles in the fourth quarter, the Giants blinked first, allowing the Eagles to take the lead with just over three minutes remaining and then put the game out of reach with an interception return just seconds later. The pick was New York's fourth turnover of the game, which doesn't suggest the kind of crisp offensive execution you might expect from a team fighting for the playoffs. Playing without Michael Strahan on defense, the Giants were able to get just two sacks against Jeff Garcia, although they did pick him off for the first time since he took over for an injured Donovan McNabb. Worse than the passing game, the Giants couldn't do much to stop the Eagles on the ground, as both Brian Westbrook and Correll Buckhalter piled up good yardage. Facing New Orleans' backfield duo next week and the red-hot Ladell Betts in the season finale, Tom Coughlin's defense will have to tighten its tackling. Vote

I can't stand Scott Linehan. That guy whines and complains the whole game. He looks like he's ready to cry half the time.

To me Mora is the worst. Goes on radio saying he wants the UW job and then says the whole thing was a joke. I've heard that tape several times now, if he was acting, he's in the wrong line of work. He basically quit on his team I'll be very surprised if they don't fire him.

Supposedly he wanted to interview for the UW job when Willingham was hired but Arthur Blank wouldn't let him. I'm sure he'll be able to apply sometime soon because Blank is going to can him. And, there was no way he was joking in that interview.

Apparently one of the hosts is his former college roommate, so the theory is he simply forgot he was on radio, he was just talking to his old buddy and let it slip out and once he realized, it was too late. So he's now saying it was a joke they concocted.

What really bugged me there is he kept saying nothing against Ty Willingham he'll do a great job, but if he moves on, I want that job. Like I'm not trying to undermine the guy but if he'd just quit, I'd take the job. Bad enough to screw your current team over but don't throw Willingham under a bus too.

this is the worst coaching staff in the nfl. the cardinals have a lot of talent and this is the performance we are getting from them. this was suppose to be the cardinals breakout season and nothing but the same ole cardinals. things need to change. if sean payton can turn the saints around in one season, then i expect some other coach can turn the cardinals around in one season. everyone would agree that the cardinals have more talent than the saints. they need someone that can pull this team together. cam cameron

How we lost to the damn Raiders is just.....

That loss sticks in my craw almost as much as the Bears loss.

Anybody still question how good a coach Jeff Fischer is?

anyone who ever did should man up now!!!

i believe he has more tenure as a head coach than anyone in the league...maybe cower has more i am not sure off the top of my head...for a minute or so i always hoped he would be our head coach..right after they drafted young and not matt....but when i came to my senses and realized he would have to work for the killer b's....no way that would happen......fischer is my favorite coach...like anyone cares!!!

i will stand by my prediction....russ grimm...which to me is a grimm though.

Yep. His career record is average at best.

His team this year is over-achieving, I'm sure his coaching has something to do with it but his teams play some of the most bland boring brands of football in the NFL.

To show you how meaningless this poll is, Dennis green better than John Fox? enough said. Art shell is the worst coach in the league. He missed the choo-choo by 10 years, and I get to watch him EVERY week here in Fresno.

I think he is holding up well, considering he has that moron , Arthur Blank, of an owner walking the sidelines every game and is forced to play the 2nd best QB on his team. I think Mora takes the next train out of Atlanta voluntarily. If he pisses off Blank enough and gets fired he can negotiate the exit package before taking a college job.

The Falcon HC job may be the worst in the NFL.
