Two months after engaging in an online feud with Asante Samuel, Deion Sanders revealed that he had made amends with the former Pittsburgh Steelers star. At the end of March, Samuel and Sanders clashed over their differing views on the "T-Step," a technique Samuel had adopted during his NFL career.
The Colorado Buffaloes' head coach said that he would be upset if his players used that movement. Those remarks didn't sit well with Samuel, who brought up his numbers and compared them to Sanders' to try to prove the "T-Step" really helped him.
Samuel finished his career with 434 tackles, 51 interceptions for 728 yards, six touchdowns and seven forced fumbles in 157 games. Sanders played 188 games, finishing with 296 tackles, one sack, five forced fumbles, 53 interceptions for 1,331 yards and nine touchdowns.
Even Shannon Sharpe chimed in on this discussion, telling Samuel that Sanders was levels ahead of him, drawing a strong response from the former New England Patriots cornerback.

During Saturday's edition of the "Say What Needs To Be Said" show, the pair sat and talked. Samuel said Sanders told him he wanted to be on his show to get him some views, while Sanders revealed that he took the first step to bury the hatchet and end this beef.
“I reached out to my youngster," Sanders said. "I called him the youngster because he's still young compared to me. I want him to win in every facet. See, the thing about it, we've never heard him talk off the field. We've always heard you, you know, you said a little something on the field, but we never heard you say something. I think that was the Patriot way. That's Pat. So, when you retire and you start talking, we like, who is going what's wrong with you, man?”
After a pretty intense battle, the two former players have moved on. Sanders is preparing for another college football season and waiting for his son, Shedeur, to start his NFL career, while Samuel is focused on his off-field ventures.
