One of the Colorado Buffaloes players with a bright future will be hitting the transfer portal. Brandon Hood will be leaving Boulder, according to reports on Friday night.
The Buffs running back spent one season in the Big 12 after being part of Deion Sanders' biggest portal classes last year.
Hood, a three-star from Eagles Landing Christian Academy (Georgia), received offers from Auburn, Tennessee, LSU and Penn State among others. His brother, Colton, emerged as one of the bright spots in the Colorado secondary last year. The Hood brothers were part of an FBS record six sets of siblings on the CU roster last fall.
With Hood entering the portal, Colorado has lost 12 players during this cycle. He's also the second rusher to exit with Isaiah Augustave going to Virginia. The move caused Sanders to call out the Cavaliers program for tampering. He claims UVA paid $500K for Augustave to transfer.
Hood will have four years of eligibility at his next stop.
