I just saw the trailer for this for the first time, and it was...not good. This is live action, right? It looked like a cartoon.

Did you see aquaman already? Batfleck was in the movie but James Gunn cut it out.
Oh!!! My bad! I thought you were referring to Flash and Clooney. I just saw Afflecks name on the poster. Good to know Batfleck was cut. It would have bothered me.

Finally seen this. It was awful. Dialogue was at times bad but what surprised me is the CGI. The only redeeming dialogue was the banter between brothers.
In terms of the CGI, it was a roller coaster of really good to really bad. It was like two separate teams worked on the FX. Some of the FX were great and other parts were "cartoony". There was this really bad scene with "mechs" climbing up columns. The CGI was so bad it almost looked like stop motion. Then there is this other part with Nicole Kidman where it looks like they were using CGI to alter her face. She looked beyond artificial.
I was hoping for something better since I liked the first one.

I am like 10 minutes in and Momoa is pretty great.

Oh wow this movie is terrible
We turned it off even though it was free. Wow that was terrible.
Couldn't get to the halfway mark before the Mrs and I looked at each other and said, "we're done here."
