Giants won 3 out of 4 vs New York on the road.

Last time we played at their ballpark we took 3 out of 4 against them.

We win 1 out of the 3.

Anderson vs Bumgarmer toss up.

Collmenter vs Vogelsong If Collmenter pitched like he did against the Giants last time out we are going to win..

De La Rosa vs Heston Heston threw a no hitter against the Mets.

1 win is realistic. Bumgarner isn't the same. Outside of his no hitter Heston hasn't been good.

2 of 3 is needed at this point. Hope they can go in there and steal all of them

Chase carries a no hitter thru 6 1/3rd, and then takes a screamer off his leg from Posey... dammit!

Great performance by Chase. Great defensive plays behind him. The only hit he gave up was off him and the only walk was to Bumgarner. Still not much run support but the one run held up.

Josh Collmenter will be moved to the bullpen.

Webster will start against Vogelsong.

This was eventually going to happen when Corbin and Arroyo came back but JC hasn't proved he belongs in the rotation permanently let alone in an ace role he was given by default to start the season. Hopefully he can solidify the bullpen.

Webster has been much worse than Collmenter so far this season posting an ERA of 9.00 for Reno. He has in no way earned a call up to the bigs. Looks like a case of front office ego at work.

I think it is combination of things. Josh was moved to a starter last year by necessity. His delivery works better in the short term. His ERA as a starter is in the 4's and in the 2's as a reliever where he is more effective. He was given the "ace" title based on his stats last year but I didn't think that was a long term solution.

I think the front office is happy with what Ray has done and wants to see another young pitcher before Corbin and Arroyo come back. He

Webster had two horrible starts to start the year, and then missed a month with shoulder fatigue. He gave up just two runs combined in his first two starts upon returning, but was touched up for six runs over five innings his last time around. I guess they just want to see him up and see what he can do. It is an interesting move.
