This sounds scrumptious. It's been too long since I have had chorizo.
I love it cuz there’s step by step photos and very little chatter before she gets to the recipes. Been using her recipes for years.
I was going to start a thread in the music thread but I thought better of it.
I had pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Then I had burrito from golden pride for brunch.
I've been waiting too long to make pancakes. Hungry Jack is my favorite along with maple syrup.
Add bacon and you are in heaven.
Sometimes someone comes up with a good idea and I wonder why didn't I think about it first.
OK. A day late. You know how the Honey Baked ham is sliced until the last few inches. Well, I take that (still attached to the bone), soak two pounds of pinto bean overnight, rinse, place beans and ham/bone in a crockpot with my secret 7 ingredients and cook on low for 10 hours. Not saying it was great (not for me to say) but my wife was definitely in the mood last night. Just sayin’.
I had a bagel and coffee for breakfast.
I am not feeling the next couple of days, we are expecting snow.
This week has been rough, I worked 10 PM to 6 AM Mon & Tue, 8 PM to 4 AM Wed, Noon to 8 PM today and 8 Am to 4 PM tomorrow. I am so exhausted right now.
We've been doing something similar except with Northern beans. Add cornbread and it's delicious.
Now I'm wondering about your 7 secret ingredients. The ham alone does a wonderful job of flavoring the beans.
All we are getting today is the wind, 40+ mph. Maybe a chance of showers Saturday and Sunday.
I don't think we are expecting wind. I'm not sure.
