hopefully keesean and isabella continue to grow and become worthwhile. in a year or two they will be relied on much more than this year.

Some interisting cuts from other teams? 8
I hope we can get a pass rusher
Starting the season with just Jones and Kennard and basically nothing behind scares me out

Butlers issue isn't his hands.

Its his attitude. He doesn't LOVE football so he doesn't put the work in.

He didn't do the work in the off season. Didn't do it in camp.

No drive. No passion.

That's very likely why he fell in the draft. Other teams picked it up.

it’s too bad they waved Miles Brown. I hope he makes the practice squad. The times I watched him play, I was impressed the way he ate up the middle and kept OL off the line backers

Jo Jo may just make our roster after Butler axed. The kid can flat out run & reminds me of Smokey.

he could be a real good find for Big Red & scare the hell out of defenses

Unless we sign a guy cut by another team, just about every player cut, can be signed to the PS. Consider that we had to cut 21 players (from 74 to 53). And since you can have 16 on the PS and Toth was waived injured and Winslow is a punter, that's a total of three guys without a job. So that helps the guys to keep their dreams alive. JMO.

i think it was Urban, but on Butler: such long legs and arms had real issues getting in and out of breaks quickly. Raih called it "he is outside his frame". It meant he is an easy cover currently.

i would kick the tires on Sidney Jones, CB just released by Philly

played with Budda at Washington

if no team claims him, he might agree to the Cards practice squad

edit: per some google research, the book on him in Philly was that he played well while healthy, but wasnt available regularly due to various ailments.

this makes him the bargain kind of guy that Keim seems to love. i would still try to practice squad him and see if he stays healthy....

Clinton Dix would be an ideal ball hawk FS to pair with Budda. I know we plan on going with Jalen Thompson but he is not as accomplished in the NFL as Ha Ha. That said, something must be wrong if DAL cut him, they usually go out of their way to sign high risk players.

Tega Wanogho intrigues me if we could get him on practice squad. I think ARZ is going to ride or die with Murray at RT this year. Tega Wanogho & Jones could be potential bookends of the future if Kugler could develop them.

As you mentioned, Jones has lost his battle staying out of the training room. Talented for sure but sure looks like a potential Robert Alford situation to me. If you could get him on practice squad, worth a gamble.

HaHa has been on 3 different teams in the past two years. Yea, no.

Wouldn’t mind picking up Calvin Throck up. Prince just seems too raw to get fixed up.

We should not be looking forward to signing DBs coming from the Eagles of all DBs.
