Kind of bending the thread here, but what is the solution then, to bringing the manufacturing sector back to the US, so long as the overseas factories work at 1/4 payscale or worse?
Tarriffs raise prices but in the long run, expenses being equalized, the jobs should return. What's a better choice? The middle class is shrinking in this country, not because of some nasty grand plan, but because the jobs have moved away in the name of the 'global economy'.

Gowdy on CNN right now interviewing the FBI agent who was texting about not wanting Trump to win. Gowdy's level of hyperbole is unreal. You wrote you wanted the vote to be 100 million to zero for Hillary, you couldn't think of a single person who wouldn't vote for her? Weren't you investigating her, shouldn't you have waited until after that concluded to make statements about her?

Says the guy who called her a criminal over and over for years in the Benghazi investigation BEFORE it concluded.

I think it's a false premise that we need to "save" manufacturing. There are plenty of jobs over here, we just don't value them as a society and as such don't pay them a livable wage.

The only reason the middle class was able to survive with the breadwinner having a manufacturing job is because at some point they unionized and won those benefits and wage increases.

    Socialist ideas.

Gowdy is an ugly little monkey who undoubtedly got the crap kicked out of him on a regular basis when he was growing up. A good stiff throat punch to him would do the world good.

FBI agent Peter Strzok was met with loud cheers and applause after tearing into Republicans for suggesting his anti-Trump texts were proof of bias: I wrote that text ”in response to…Trump insulting the immigrant family of a fallen war hero. And my presumption based on that horrible, disgusting behavior [was] that the American people would not elect someone demonstrating that behavior to be president of the United States."

    http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/396693-strzok-says-allegations-of-bias-corrode-fbi

“At no time, in any of these texts, did those personal beliefs ever enter into the realm of any action I took,” Strzok said, adding that “multiple layers” of agents above and below him at the bureau would not have tolerated any “improper behavior.”

“They would not tolerate any improper behavior in me anymore than I would tolerate it in them," he said. "That is who we are as the FBI, and the suggestion that I, in some dark chamber somewhere in the FBI, would somehow cast aside all of these procedures, all of these safeguards, and somehow be able to do this is astounding to me."

“The proposition that that is going on and that might occur anywhere in the FBI deeply corrodes what the FBI is in American society, the effectiveness of their mission, and it is deeply destructive,” Strzok said.
