Coyotes have re-signed Ilya Lyubushkin to a one-year deal

The #Coyotes announce they have re-signed Ilya Lyubushkin to a one-year deal. Good depth defenseman that got some opportunity last year because of injuries. Seized his chance to play and is rewarded with a new contract.

Chayka was a HUGE risk guy as a GM. The owner met some guy he thought knew what he was doing and took a chance. This guy has exceeded all my expectations as a GM. I hope the new owner keeps him on.

I'm told the cap hit for Ilya Lyubushkin's new one-year deal with the #Coyotes is $874,125 for the 2019-20 season.
