The Dallas Cowboys opted not to select a wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft but they are adding talent to the position. According to multiple reports, the Cowboys are finalizing a trade to acquire Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens.
Jon Machota of The Athletic reports the Cowboys are giving up a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-rounder in exchange for Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick.
Pickens is in the final year of his rookie contract and according to Adam Schefter, he will be looking for an extension after the trade is complete.
