Courtney Vandersloot just broke her wife Allie Quigley's franchise record — and joked that she has mixed feelings about it.
With Quigley, 38, and their two-month-old daughter, Jana, in the crowd, Vandersloot, 36, scored 13 points in the Chicago Sky's win over the Dallas Wings on Thursday, May 29, bringing her total points for the franchise to 3,728 on 1,390 field goals. She officially surpassed her wife's record of 3,273 points on 1,386 field goals.
The record-breaking bucket for Vandersloot came in the third quarter of Chicago's win. Quigley's excited reaction was shown on the broadcast as she filmed her wife's big moment on her phone, as seen in a video shared on X.

While Quigley never formally retired, she played for the Sky fron 2013 to 2022 and announced she would sit out the next seasons.
After the game, Vandersloot told reporters, including the Chicago Sun-Times, that the "time spent here" in Chicago is "what means the most" to her.
"It just speaks to the commitment that I made to the Chicago Sky and their commitment to me as well. They drafted me and let me develop. We had a lot of tough seasons. It wasn't always easy," she said.
In April, PEOPLE exclusively shared the news that the couple welcomed their first daughter together. "We are over the moon to welcome our baby girl to the world," Vandersloot and Quigly, affectionately known as "the VanderQuigs," told PEOPLE.
"We have been dreaming of this moment for a long time, and it’s better than we could have ever imagined!" the couple continued.
Vandersloot and Quigley, the first married couple to win a professional sports championship together, tied the knot in December 2018. The couple kept their relationship private for more than five years, however, before announcing news of their nuptials on Instagram.
