Nothing at all wrong with Kirk talent wise.

His biggest issues has been missing games and concentration drops. He's had 4 or 5 big drops when he's been wide open.

But considering he's had missed time, 2 different coaching staffs, 2 QBs, 2 playbooks in his first 2 seasons I don't get the complaints.

He would have had 2 800+ yard seasons if healthy. Both with rookie QBs.

Calvin Ridley who was a 1st round pick is considered a success with 821 and 866 yards the last 2 years.

Robert Woods, has broke 800 twice in 7 years.

I'll even go as far to say Kirk is a top 10 WR2 in the league.

Here's the others

Ridley
Willie Snead
Beasley
Samuel
Anthony Miller
Boyd
Landry
Gallup
Patrick
Marvin Jones
Lazard
Fuller
Paris Campbell
Marquise Lee
Sammy Watkins
Zay Jones
Mike Williams
Woods
Preston Williams
Diggs
Sanu
Ginn
Shepard
Crowder
Jackson
Johnson
Deebo Samuel
Metcalf
Godwin
Humphries
Sims

Not even a question he's top 10 when you look at the list

You can take my word for it or not, because I don’t have the time. However, you could put a similar highlight reel together on any of the top 15 prospects in this year’s draft. Just try YouTube. That’s why scouts go to see players in person. You need to see all their plays, not just the ones they get right. It’s also why aggregate statistical information is so important.

Not even a question? I found that to be a bold claim, so i looked into all of your listed guys a bit and made my own ranking. Note that some of the guys you list are #3 at best on their teams going into 2020:

Curtis Samuel (CAR) behind DJ Moore, Robby Anderson
Adam Humphries (TEN) behind AJ Brown, Corey Davis
Marqise Lee (JAC) behind DJ Chark, Dede Westbrook, Chris Conley?
Allen Lazard (GB) behind Adams, Valdes-Scantling
Paris Campbell (IND) behind Hilton, Pascal)

Others are technically #1 WRs now:

Stefon Diggs (BUF)
Jamison Crowder (NYJ)
Will Fuller (HOU) pending an acquisition
Deebo Samuel (SF) pending an acquisition

Still i'd rank the following ahead of Kirk "without a question" based on significantly higher production the last 1-2 years:

Chris Godwin (TB)
Calvin Ridley (ATL)
Robert Woods (LAR)
Jarvis Landry (CLE)
DK Metcalf (SEA)
Mike Williams (LAC)
Robby Anderson (CAR)
Sterling Shepard (NYG)
Michael Gallup (DAL)

That would put Kirk at #10, but then consider the following "arguably" better:

Marvin Jones (DET) - entering his 9th year, also a bit injury prone, but had more yards per game and WAY more TDs than Kirk

DeSean Jackson (PHI) (!) - entering his 13th year, injury prone, but had WAY more yards per game and TDs than Kirk - surely will be relegated to #3 by an acquisition

Cole Beasley (BUF) - entering his 9th year, comparable stats to Kirk, though he accumulated them as a #1 WR last season

Tyler Boyd (CIN) - inconsistent, but had WAY more yards and TDs than Kirk, though he was effectively a #1 much of the last two seasons

Preston Williams (MIA) - only played 8 games, but had similar yards/game and more TDs/game than Kirk

If you rank a couple of those guys ahead of Kirk, he's still top-15 for a #2, not bad.

I thought the following guys were close, but probably behind Kirk:

Sammy Watkins (KC) - similar stats, but on a much better team
Kenny Stills (HOU) - the new #2, racked up similar stats to Kirk playing as a #2/#3
Breshad Perriman (NYJ) - the new #2, racked up decent stats as a #3
Dede Westbrook (JAC)
Corey Davis (TEN)

The rest are clearly well behind Kirk.

Bottom line: I'd say there's "no question" Kirk's in the top half of the league, and if you argue he's top 10 i won't argue against you, but it's borderline.

Not a star but he can be easily a 1000 yards number 2 receiver
Obviously he is not a red zone target so he cant score many touchdowns

I think alot will depend on KM, and Kirk's ability to stay healthy. He has played with 2 rookie QBs his numbers may not be in line with other number 2s in the NFL, but that may improve with another year together with KM, most guys that are good number 2s usually play with experienced QBs that see matchups faster KM will improve with time and Kirk's numbers will probably look better when he is actually playing with a number 1 WR

Lol yeah he would be a great 3rd option, I'm really hoping oline or dline draft but when Kirk is matched up against a slot comer or safety id bet he has better numbers then most 2 s . I'll keep saying wouldnt hate WR pick for the matchups almost makes the offense unstoppable JMO

I don’t get the criticism of Kirk. He hasn’t t been a problem. He has been solid. He Has had a few dings that happens to everyone.

I think Kirk is gonna really thrive with Larry and Hopkins drawing the main coverage. A lot of people will be apologizing for writing him off.
I'm not sure many are writing him off we want more forsure he can be that guy nobody can cover I personally think he could be a mismatch nightmare with us adding Hopkins

Give him a consistent offense and no freak injuries, and I'm sure he will. It'll also help if the QB gets some time in the pocket for him to actually run his designated route.

Great receivers transcend their QB.
Great QBs make lesser receivers shine. Goes both ways.
