Champions Chelsea will host Manchester City on the opening weekend of the new Women's Super League season, when Sonia Bompastor's side will begin their quest for a seventh successive title.

Promoted side London City Lionesses start their first season in the top flight with a visit to Champions League winners Arsenal, a game that will be shown live on the BBC at 13:30 BST on Saturday, 6 September.

For the first time this season, Arsenal will play all 11 of their WSL home games at Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea made history as they went unbeaten across their 22 games in 2024-25, the first season under French manager Bompastor.

Manchester City, who finished fourth last year, are now managed by former Denmark boss Andree Jeglertz.

There is also a Merseyside derby on the first weekend of the new season, with Liverpool hosting Everton.

Elsewhere, Brighton are at home to Aston Villa, Leicester City travel to Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United.
